Our surface restoration restores your fixtures surfaces, extending their life in most cases for 15+ years to come. Resurfacing a fixture is usually a fraction of the cost of replacement while still achieving the look and feel of a new looking fixture.

No. Porcelain is a glass that is fired onto the surface at temperatures around 1,600 degrees. The porcelain finish is hard and resistant to scratches.

Resurfacing, on the other hand, is the application of a synthetic material onto the existing surface and doesn’t require extreme temperatures to cure onto the surface. While the new finish may not be as hard as the original porcelain, it is extremely durable. In most cases, when applied correctly, the average person would be hard-pressed to tell the difference between an original porcelain surface and a resurfaced finish.

Michael’s Resurfacing, LLC uses the most technologically advanced coatings available. These finishes are designed to stand up to daily use and do not require special care. However, like any bathtub, laminate, tile or manmade surface, a refinished surface can be shipped, cut or burned if abused. However, unlike these other surfaces, Michael’s Resurfacing, LLC can repair and return a refinished surface to like new.

Yes! Bathtubs, wall tile countertops, and fiberglass fixtures are warranted for 5 years. The warranty covers workmanship, peeling or other failure of adhesion of the new coating, unless specified otherwise.
